Stanley Ellis is the education director for the Institute for Digital Health and assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Previously, Stanley served as an assistant professor of evaluation in the Office of Educational Development in the Division of Academic Affairs for UAMS. Stanley has also served as Director of Student Assessment and Program Evaluation and Education Director in the College of Medicine where he assisted with the active learning curriculum implementation and re-accreditation of the Medical School. Stanley served in the Armed forces for 23 years, primarily as a Senior Instructor. He received his bachelors of arts in Psychology and Sociology and his Masters in Counseling from Henderson State University. He attended the University of Arkansas-Little Rock for his Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership with a concentration in Faculty Development. He recently received his certification as a CFD (Certified Faculty Developer) and CPP (Certified Program Planner) from the Learning Resources Network (LERN); lern.org.
