Arkansas schools are in need!

In 2001, there were approximately 15 million young people nationally diagnosed with a mental health disorder, however, only about 7% received adequate care from mental health professionals (1).

How can Public Schools Program help?

  • Enhance student’s access to behavioral health providers by providing real-time on-the-spot care.
  • Increase the number of students treated for behavioral health-related issues.
  • Provide clinical consults and medication management in real-time.

Behavioral Health means mental and emotional well being.  Youth today are faced with a number of different stressors and emotional challenges.  Education, prevention, and early identification of behavioral health needs are essential to helping youth avoid risky behaviors and promote long term emotional health.

Be prepared!  Learn more about some of the behavioral health issues affecting youth today.
