Summary of Project:
In this project, the utilization of Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) services will be assessed using a national sample of Medicare beneficiaries and their corresponding healthcare claims data from 2018-2020. Rates of RPM utilization will be compared prior to and after the declaration of the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) and will also compare RPM utilization rates for rural and urban areas, as well as other factors associated with health equity.
