Summary of Project

This project will assess telehealth utilization and spending at a national level through a health equity lens by examining data from Medicare beneficiaries’ carrier claims submitted between January 2018 and December 2020, comparing utilization rates and spending between racial/ethnic minority groups, rural/urban communities, and accounting for the presence of the most commonly diagnosed chronic conditions.
