Outreach Services

About the High-Risk Pregnancy Program

The only service of its kind in the nation, the UAMS Institute for Digital Health & Innovation High-Risk Pregnancy Program — formerly called “ANGELS” — is a joint program of the UAMS College of Medicine’s Institute for Digital Health & Innovation and the Arkansas Department of Human Services with the support of the Arkansas Medical Society. This unique program is designed to be a support network for high-risk obstetric patients and providers in Arkansas.

Program

Program Goal

The goal of the High-Risk Pregnancy Program is to create access to high-risk obstetrics services no matter where you live in Arkansas.

Mission

The High-Risk Pregnancy Program mission is to ensure that every woman in Arkansas at risk of having a complicated pregnancy receives the best perinatal care possible. The program does this with evidence-based care guidelines, research, health care education and a 24/7 call center. The High-Risk Pregnancy Program also offers consultation by board-certified UAMS Health maternal-fetal medicine physicians using telemedicine technology.
