Brenda received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She began her employment with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in the College of Medicine in 1996. Through her years at UAMS, she has gained experience through working with Medical students, the Department of Pediatrics and various Telehealth Programs.
Brenda has worked with the Institute for Digital Health & Innovation (IDHI), formerly known as the Center for Distance Health, for the past 15 years. She is currently the Director of Contract Services where she works with leadership to pursue and achieve strategic objectives pertaining to the vision for telemedicine programs and digital health projects. Brenda participates in contract negotiations, development and execution for the Institute. Brenda is the liaison between IDHI and the campus contracts offices and collaborates with attorneys to ensure State and UAMS compliance.
