Roy received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Arkansas. He began his employment with the University for Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine as the division administrator in 2002. He then had the opportunity to transfer to the Center for Distance Health in 2006 and assist in building the foundation of this new Center.
He is currently the Executive Director of IDHI e-Link, UAMS e-Link Network Director and the UAMS Consortium Project Coordinator. He oversees one of the nation’s largest telehealth networks. He develops and oversees the day-to-day administration of the center, training, and technical assistance, programs, grants, and assists with negotiations of contracts including the development of new business proposals, affiliation agreements, memorandums of understanding, and preparation of cost analysis and financial impact.
