Anthony Goudie, Ph.D.

Research Investigator
 

Dr. Anthony Goudie is an associate professor and doctoral program director in the Department of Health Policy and Management in the College of Public Health at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the director of research and evaluation at the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement. He is a scholar in the Society for Pediatric Research and is currently serving in his third year on the AcademyHealth Methods and Data Council. Tony is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a doctorate in health services research and a Master of Science in Public Health in health policy and outcomes. He is a former fellow of the Lister Hill Health Policy Center and Academic Pediatric Association Young Investigator Awardee. Prior to coming to Arkansas, he was a faculty member in the Child Policy Research Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, often collaborating with research colleagues in the Government Resource Center at the Ohio State University.

Dr. Goudie has more than 30 years of experience analyzing data, developing research designs and implementing cutting edge statistical methods to address complicated questions relevant to health services and policy research.
