Telehealth Jobs and Workforce Information

As of 2022, there are 47,106 people employed in the digital health industry in the US. This number grew 27.3% between 2017 and 2022.1 Digital health in general is supported by almost all areas of IT to deliver care, educate, analyze, predict, etc. Most technical jobs in the field are functions of IT and strategy teams. The same is true for the product side of digital health. Many different IT fields are leveraged from developers, DB engineers, cyber security, network engineers, etc., in order to get a product or service out to market. Communications is a broad area and covers much of this, so UC Specialist would be a good field to mimic when looking for someone to help in the telemedicine and Digital Health spaces.
