RTEC Researcher Mahip Acharya presents research findings at Academy Health 2023
Dr. Mahip Acharya abstract was accepted as a podium presentation during Academy Health 2023. He was able to travel to Seattle Washington to present on his research findings on June 26th during a podium session entitled The Association of Remote Patient Monitoring Use with Mortality and Healthcare Utilization Measures in Hypertensive Patients: A Medicare Claims-Based Study.
RTEC Student Researcher Ruchira Mahashabde presents abstract poster at ISPOR conference
Ruchira Mahashabde traveled to Boston, MA to present on her research entitled Trends in Remote Patient Monitoring Before and After the Covid-19 Pandemic in the US: A Rural/Urban and Racial/Ethnic Group Comparison. Ruchira was also identified as top 5% finalist out of 2,100+ abstracts that were submitted for the conference. Because of this great accomplishment Ruchira’s poster qualified for the Best Poster Presentation in the student category.
RTEC Team and SCTRC Team Meet for Retreat
Our RTEC team and SCTRC Team met in person for a retreat. During this time, we were able to gather together to brainstorm and strategize about the different projects that each team are currently working on. For many of our teams members it was the first time meeting in person since the pandemic started.
RTEC Researcher Honored
Each year the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at UAMS organizes the 2023 Phenomenal Woman award ceremony during March, which is Women’s History Month. This year, UAMS recognized 36 women Phenomenal Women who were nominated by their peers for their contribution to UAMS.
Our very on RTEC Core Researcher, Dr. Cari Bogulski received a nomination from Dr. Katy Allison. Dr. Bogulski was awarded 2023 Phenomenal Woman in a wonderful ceremony on March 30th.
