We’ve partnered with Tanya Phillips, M.Ed., M.H.Sc. from Reinvent Yourself Healthy & Happy to launch an adapted eBook club exclusively for brain injury survivors.

About Tanya Phillips
Some of you may recognize Tanya from her presentation at one of our BIP Presents workshops, where she was a fan favorite!
Tanya is a TBI survivor passionate about helping others achieve their best health. She is also a Combat Veteran who served in Iraq as a Military Intelligence Officer. In 2009, she was appointed by the military and the Governor of Arkansas as the state’s first Suicide Prevention Program Manager. Tanya is a certified Fitness Trainer and Nutritionist whose commitment to wellness stems from her own journey of overcoming injuries sustained in Iraq and her work in suicide prevention.
About the eBook Club
The only requirement to join is that you’re a brain injury survivor with access to the internet.
This club will explore a variety of eBooks focused on health, wellness, acceptance, recovery, and promoting overall well-being.
One of the featured books will be the award-winning To Root & To Rise: Accepting Brain Injury by Carole J. Starr, M.S. As a brain injury survivor herself, Carole has used time, strategies, and support to reinvent her life. She is now an inspiring national keynote speaker and serves in multiple roles, including co-chair of the Brain Injury Advisory Council and a member of the Brain Injury Association of America – Maine Chapter Advisory Board.
Additionally, Tanya has created a private Facebook group for participants to connect and chat outside of meetings. Joining the group is optional and not required to participate in the eBook club.
Official eBook Club Launch
The eBook club will officially begin on Tuesday, February 6th and be held every other Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30am.
